Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

Music Video | Wiz Khalifa – Roll Up

posted by on 24/03/2011

Having just broke the top ten with his single ‘Black and Yellow’ reaching #6 in the UK charts I thought i’d let our UK readers get more into Wiz Khalifa‘s music by showing you the music video to his follow up single ‘Roll Up’. The video has been making the round in the US for a while now and is sure to hit UK screens soon. It features the beautiful badboy records signee Cassie. Yesterday the sun was shining real bright and on the way to work with my windows open in the car I was blasting this song out loud, its definitely one for the summer. Check it out on the flipside.

283. Renaissance Chancery Court Hotel | LDN.365

posted by on 24/03/2011

Running out of photographs, I have none on this machine and editing on here is a piss take. Locks up every time I try to export an image, my patience is being tested but I’ll be fine. If you don’t hear from me for a few days, check the headlines ‘Brown boy jumps out of a window’. This building pictured is actually a hotel, it definitely fits the name ‘Renaissance‘ with its architecture. Beautiful.

Supreme Store Coming To London? + Lady Gaga Posters

posted by on 24/03/2011

First off. I’ve never been a fan of Lady Gaga and I never will be one. I don’t like her stance on individuality or the way she pushes the boundaries of society. There’s a fine line between individuality and craziness in my opinion. However I adore Supreme and their brand identity. I’ve heard various rumours about their financial losses but this video gives off the impression that the NYC brand might be following in the footsteps of Johnny Cupcakes and opening up a store in our city. If so this is big news for you hipsters! the only thing I want is a Supreme sticker, love the typography. Peep the video of them plastering the Gaga posters in London on the reverse.

Throwback Thursday

posted by on 24/03/2011

Its that time once again where we take a trip down memory lane. This week I have selected two songs for your listening pleasure, simply because I know if I dont post both now then I will forget to post one of them at a later date. First up I have a track from rnb King R Kelly. Though he may have had his rough times his talent is undeniable. ‘Your Body’s Calling’ is a real smooth groove and is one of those songs you play when your getting down and dirty with your loved one. Next up I have the debut single from original Sugababe Mutya Buena. Her song ‘Real Girl’ became an instant classic for me and was refreshing to hear as it sounded nothing like her previous recordings with her girl group. Hope you enjoy.

Mugler 2011 Fall/Winter Campaign

posted by on 24/03/2011

I should have posted this a while back but just kept putting it off. Take a look at the forthcoming Mugler mens 2011 Fall/Winter campaign featuring newly introduced model Rick Genest. I personally think that these black and white images are seriously dope! the detail in Rick’s full body tattoos (yep thats right, its tattoos not makeup) contrasted with the simplicity of the garments make for a truly great set of pictures.

282. 90 Holborn | LDN.365

Sigh. Mac-less life is complete fail for me, zero-level of productivity when I’m sat in front of my prehistoric PC. I don’t even like typing on this traditional non-touch type keyboard. Anyway, I snapped this photograph the other day before the Y&Y family meeting. I just loved the lighting from inside the building and the Starbucks is real different. Never seen one like this, even the menu boards were a little bit more corporate and tidy.

Shoulda Woulda Coulda

posted by on 23/03/2011

I was listening to songs on my computer as I do practically everyday when Whitney Houston’s I Look To You album started to play. My favourite song off the album before todays run through was ‘Worth It’ but that may have changed. Although my favourite may have changed I still believe that this song is hella DOPE! And would have been a major success on urban radio formats. Give it a listen for yourself.
