Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

The Gilt MANual Minute – Episode 1

posted by on 24/02/2011

The Gilt’s MANual Tyler Thoreson and Josh Peskowitz sit down for a 3 minute chat on the three elements of modern masculinity; Scotch, Steven Alan shirts and Scarves. Thoreson and Peskowitz give some helpful tips on how to drink Scotch, rock a Steven Alan shirt and keep warm while still looking dapper exiting the cruel winter. The video provides rather interesting information. Like for one, I never knew someone could chew Scotch. Hearing it sounds absolute odd but you really can. Video after the cut.

254. Couple Overlooking St.Pauls Cathedral | LDN.365

posted by on 23/02/2011

One of my recent favourites from the series. It’s honestly a shame about all the noise but that’s what I get for lack of tripod shooting. I took this from this new shopping centre opposite the famous cathedral, it’s pretty dope! in a few months there will be a roof terrace cafe and restaurant opening here. I’ll write more about it soon. Look at that view, only in LONDON! I love this city.

The W Hotel London

posted by on 23/02/2011

During our blogging hiatus we let a couple things slide that we would have normally brought to your attention. For example back on Valentines Day the new W Hotel in Leicester Square opened its doors to the world. The 192-room property stands ten stories tall above the city’s famous Leicester Square and is covered in translucent glass which changes colour according to the time of day and the ambience of the area. More details on the flipside.

Amazing tailoring from Casely & Hayford. I’m definitely feeling the styling too, the brightly coloured scarf is a nice addition. I was here photographing for another site, you’ll see soon. I met some incredibly inspiring creatives: Mr. Hare & Andrew Bunney. The latter has the most crazy career story but gave me a few words of advice on this journey we call life. Now that’s what I call a great start to the week, inspiration and advice from people who have done things I dream of doing in my career.

My Mac Died Again

posted by on 21/02/2011

Ok so my Apple Macbook Pro has decided to die on me again. Cause? exactly the same issue as last time. You would think a brand spanking new hard drive would last more than 3 months! It’s obvious something else is interfering with the file system causing it to fail again. Anyway, you can imagine how PISSED off/scared I was when this happened out of the blue. If this happened before my deadlines last thursdays, God knows what kind of trouble I would have been in! More on the reverse.
