Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

Dell Inspiron Duo Convertible

posted by on 25/02/2011

Though I am windows convert I usually cannot stand using the platform anymore especially at work where we’re still using windows xp..feels like windows 95 to be frank! That being said, the new windows 7 is actually pretty good- its very smooth and easy to use and dare I say it, the functions are quite similar to the mac *runs away*. Without digressing any further, the new Dell Inspiron Duo is Dell’s latest portable device on the market and their first attempt at a tablet…hmmm skeptical indeed.

This is going to be big. The typography and vibrant colours captured my eyes straight away, it’s not even all that fancy but the text really complements each other. For those who don’t know anything about Johnny Cupcakes, I suggest you watch this Maestro Knows episode featuring the man himself. His story is truly inspiring, get up and go get it. Johnny Cupcakes London store opens on the 12th of March. I’m pretty sure one of us will be there!

posted by on 25/02/2011

The long lines, shouting across the venue, rare kicks and vast amount of vendors is back. I’m talking about Sneaker Con! The annual sneaker event is back as they kick off their first of two events of the year. For those unfamiliar with the event allow yourself to get acquainted. Sneaker Con is a yearly event which takes places in New York City giving sneakerfiends, heads, freaks and addicts the ability to buy, sell and trade some of the rarest and some of the hardest to find kicks ever. More details after the cut.

LDN.365 really is my day to day diary most of the time. I spent most of yesterday at London Fashion Week covering 2 shows: Cassette Playa & Tween. Both were pretty epic but Tween really did it for me. I’ll speak more on that collection in a later post as I have my macbook back and now will be able to get back to my regular posting habits. I’ve lost so many links that I bookmarked but oh well, I’ll be delivering fresh new content your way starting tomorrow. Hold tight folks.

Pelé Sports Review

posted by on 24/02/2011

It’s been a good few months since our last fashion review. Many apologies for the slacking, I’m not going to use the final year at university excuse as we can ALWAYS make time. Any who, many of you lot probably haven’t heard of Pelé Sports but I’m 100% sure most have heard of Brazilian football legend, Pelé. The brand have decided to venture into fashion/streetwear like many sportswear companies do nowadays, it’s becoming a necessity. Review, photos and more on the reverse.

Zara February Lookbook

posted by on 24/02/2011

As the new Spring/Summer season draws ever closer the time has come for me to assess the state of my wardrobe. I am one of those people who has quite a lot of clothes but majority of them never see the light of day. 1 big black bin liner and 2 large Selfridges bags, not to mention the clothes dashed down between the end of my bed and the wall, are full of clothes that I don’t wear. I always complain that I have no clothes but the never buy new ones to replace the void however with the change in season I think this has to change. Zara quickly became one if my favourite shops to shop in but fell off when I realised that their clothes sizes were ridiculous. Now in the mood to get back to clothes shopping, I want to get back to wearing Zara so my first task was to look at is on offer. Which lead to this post, check out what they have to offer in their February Lookbook.

Throwback Thursday

posted by on 24/02/2011

I was listening to this track earlier today and just knew it had to be this weeks Throwback Thursday feature. Never in my life have I heard a rapper some so much like another until i hear Guerilla Black. His delivery, his voice and even his appearance resembles the deceased legend that is Notorious B.I.G. If you have never heard of Guerilla Black it is probably because his was one of those one album wonders that never really made in the US let alone the rest of the world. This track comes from his 2004 debut album and features Beenie Man. If you don’t fancy listening to this track because your not familiar with Black then I suggest you listen just to understand what I mean when I say that Biggie smalls spirit must live in his soul.

Spring/Summer Must Have: Denim Jacket

posted by on 24/02/2011

This is my first post in relation to fashion, as I tend to stick to what I know best, music. However since moving to London from Southampton I’ve learned quite a bit about fashion. The contrast in style within the two cities is clear to see if you’ve visited both. In Southampton you feel you can’t express yourself too much with your clothing and I tend to think people play it safe with what they wear. Whereas in London you can literally wear whatever you want without any concern.

Meet The New Mini Mini

posted by on 24/02/2011

After becoming an official owner of a Mini I am intrigued to see how this will actually work. I have no doubt that it will be just as aesthetically pleasing as this concept is but when the real production model hits our streets I would love to sit in one to see how spacious it is, because I find my current normal sized Mini a bit on the small size so imagine what this smaller version is going to be like. Dubbed the Mini Rocketman concept Mini have revealed their latest thoughts on where the brand should be heading. This is sure to be a crowd pleaser at the Geneva Motor Show next week. More info on the reverse.
