If you’re American and missing your diners that you get back home then Ed’s Diner is the place to go for your gastric bypass burger. If you’re not American like me and feel like destroying body with excess fat intake then this is the place to go. In all fairness, the food is quite nice for ‘junk.’ Still though, you might want the meal here to be your ONLY meal of the day. There’s quite a few of this chain around, this one pictured above is behind the back of the big Boots near Bond Street.
As you know, the ‘A’ exhibition is set to launch in a couple of weeks, i hope you’ll be going to check it out! So we caught up with Remi/Rough and Steve More for a quick interview on what they do and how this collaboration and idea for a joint exhibition came out. Check the interview after the cut.

Honestly i’ve never really taken any notice of the Adidas SLVR line before but this new collection looks kinda alright. My eyes caught a few pieces in the set of pics that will follow that has got me thinking. Maybe its the way the pics were shot but I actually really like the collection. The approach for SLVR maintains its roots in sportswear with some casual garments in addition to more refined pieces. Peep the new 2011 Spring/Summer collection when you read on.
So beautiful. Her voice that is, I’m already taken so not allowed to speak of other Filipino women in such a way. This is probably the first ‘proper’ video from the YouTube sensation Erin Paula featuring fellow internet star Summer Breeze. By proper I mean shot on a SLR and not a webcam/iPhone! I can’t say I have heard of this guy before but his guitar skills are dope and voice compliments Erin’s really well. Oh I could listen to her all day long #nopervo. I swear nearly all the Filipinos that I have met in the past few months can sing?!?! Not fair. Video on the flipside.
Last year saw the release of a short documentary titled INFLUENCERS: How Trends & Creativity Become Contagious which Yin posted (see here). The video appeared to be a one off documentary however a new series of in-depth interviews have been commissioned with the first featuring CEO and founder of brand management firm Translation Steve Stoute. If you enjoyed the first documentary then you will enjoy this one too. Have a look!
On Wednesday I read Annabel’s post on her experience with a Topshop personal shopper (see post here) where she done a short interview with her personal shopper Rachel Lamb. In that interview Rachel states that one of her favourite brands at the moment is Marni. I had never heard of the brand before but as coincidences happen yesterday I stumbled across the brands 2011 Fall/Winter collection. Now obviously Rachel was talking from a female perspective but I thought I’d post the menswear collection anyway. Check it out on the flipside.
Everybody’s favourite online retailer ASOS.com has released their 2011 Spring/Summer lookbook. Now while I personally don’t really purchase items from the online retailer I cannot underestimate how many people do. Take a look at the new lookbook which seems to have that smart casual vibe which is great if you want to look fresh at all times, refined but youthful at the same time. Lookbook after the cut.
I’ve walked up and down Southbank area but I only spotted this area last week? strange. They have a nice collection of shops and restaurants, including Ping Pong Dimsum. Hop on down there one time, it’s chilled + a nice place to go for a walk after dinner. #YinDateTips
For the longest time Yin has been writing posts about his beloved Arsenal football team however all posts have been about what his team have been doing on the pitch. Now while this may interest some of you for many it has no relevance to our lives because we may not support Arsenal. Well today I have a post that is related to the best team in the world Manchester United however this post is for everyone to read as it’s not about what they do on the pitch but more about what one player in particular does off the pitch. FIVE is the new footwear and accessories brand inspired and headed by internationally renowned Manchester United player and current captain of the England national football team Rio Ferdinand. Read more and view the collection on the flipside.
Meet wedding videographer, visual storyteller, star of the night Jason Magbanua. I can’t pronounce his name, sorry. I stumbled across a wedding video created by him on my Facebook video, I clicked it thinking it was a video my friend had made. The video featured mind blowing visuals, each frame beautifully shot and edited, feels like you’re watching a film. It’s that GOOD. I want Jason to shoot my wedding in 5 years time. I better start saving as his current fees are £2,000 per wedding + I’ve already found my photographer and videographer. Shame I haven’t found a bride. More after the cut.
