Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

Heineken – The Asteroids Galaxy Tour

posted by on 29/12/2010

Remember the infectiously catch song played during that dope Heineken Advert I posted a week or so back, well the video for it dropped earlier today. I know by the end of the advert you know you want to download the song, I know I did. Well to be honest, the female singing the song is quite attractive so I proceeded to Google to find out who they were after peeping the track, they’re a Danish pop band called The Asteroid Galaxy Tour and the song is called ‘The Golden Age‘ – both names kinda remind me of retro 80s games. Peep the video on the flipside.

Alicia Keys Ft. Eve – Speechless

posted by on 28/12/2010

Alicia Keys and Eve hit the studio again to record ‘Speechless‘ as part of Swizz Beats‘ weekly Monster Monday. I haven’t been keeping up with this one.. I’ve only ever heard the Estelle track and the Dirty Money track. I like this song because it’s quite chilled and it features Eve.. I like everything that features Eve. The tunes reminds me a little bit of Alica’s earlier songs such as ‘Rock Wit U‘ one of my favorites from her library. Follow the link after the cut to listen to the song, where you can also download it!

Pain. Passion. Poetry. – Your Five Senseless Senses

posted by on 28/12/2010

This topic kinda carries on from my sickness but is directly aimed at a previously special someone in my life. When I was sick all my senses were so effed up.  I couldn’t taste anything, my eyes hurt from the lights, my ears were ringing and couldn’t move so touching anything was pointless since I couldn’t lift my baby finger.  It made me think about our senses, and how really even though we sometimes take them for granted – then it made me think about this guy and…

The collection consist of tons of quirky and mix and matched pieces. I love the all the outfits in the lookbook. I also like the fact that they didn’t used your ideal model and to me the model is really fly. I wish I could take the all the outfits in the lookbook. Unfortunately I can’t. Gwathmey-Siegel's Gymnasium Apartment

posted by on 28/12/2010

Now this is a DREAM home for me. Well for me right now anyway, it’s the ideal bachelor pad and it’s perfectly located in the heart of SoHo, New York. NYC is a dream for me, well a dream that can come true if I get a high paid job in the city after graduation. So if you own a marketing agency over there, hit me up haha. This 6,000 square ft converted gymnasium is spectacular, it exploits the original barrel vaulted space beautifully using lights and array of eclectic paintings. Honestly I don’t really know how to describe this apartment using all the right technical jargon, it’s more of a drool fest for me. So hop on after the cut for a little more information, a price tag and imagery.

Stratford‘s on fire, not literally. Redevelopment wise. It’s going to be the place to be in 2012 and I’m honestly considering moving there once I graduate (If I graduate *touch wood*). It’s got all the tube/rail links to the places I want to be at and will soon have the entertainment, retail, food places nearby too!

Sony Piiq x Supra Headphone & Sneaker Combo

posted by on 27/12/2010

Sony Piiz and Supra joined forces to bring a headphone and sneaker combo.. this collaboration makes me very happy. They’ve customised the Skytop II model with a few alterations inspired by the Sony Piiq Impact Resistant headphones. The shoe comes in black with a yellow accent, I don’t particularly wear or like yellow very much but on these it looks really cool- I would wear them. Check out a video after the cut..

The Evolution of Rihanna

posted by on 27/12/2010

It was in 2005 when I read a story on the MTV website about Jay Z signing Ne-yo, Teairra Mari, and Rihanna. Rihanna, Born Robyn Rihanna Fenty, she was 17 years old when introduced to Jay-Z. At first thought, Jigga was not so sure on singing the Barbados singer, after hearing ‘Pon De Replay‘. Jay Z told MTV “I was like, that song is too big for her,” he said. “When a song is that big, it’s hard [for a new artist] to come back from. I don’t sign songs, I sign artists. Some people chase the hot song for a minute. I want to sign an artist based on a swagger, the level of talent, the writing. I was a little reluctant.
