Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

Christmas Wants | Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

posted by on 21/11/2010

Easily one of my favourite game series, the historical storylines is what got me hooked to Assassin’s Creed. The gameplay may be slightly repetitive but in all fairness once you get into the game, you don’t really notice. This isn’t the 3rd instalment of the series, it’s a sequel to the previous games. The final chapter of that trilogy. Assassin’s Creed 3 will be totally different according to the producers, it won’t even feature Ezio. So I’m guessing they’ll probably change historical eras and maybe even use a female assassin? who knows. More after the cut.

159. Winter Wonderland At Hyde Park | LDN.365

posted by on 21/11/2010

Well this was a new experience for me. I’ve known of the Winter Wonderland Christmas funfair and market at Hyde Park for a few years but never actually checked it out till yesterday. Much more fun and busy than I originally expected, full of German stalls – warm wine/beer, bratwurst (wunderbar!) and lots of other little ornaments for one to buy. I’ll write a more detailed post tomorrow, overly tired from the day. The week in fact, everyday has been a late night, early morning thing, Yikes.

The Abandoned City Hall Subway Stop

posted by on 20/11/2010

Beautiful. Easily one of the best underground stations I’ve seen and it’s in NYC. Located by the Brooklyn Bridge stop this hidden gem has been closed for over 65 years . It’s surprising to me see such a well constructed subway station that’s been created with such fine craftsmanship as nearly all the NYC metro stations we saw were gross – wires hanging out everywhere etc. They made the LDN underground seem like Heaven, however their network was a hell of a lot more reliable. More on the flipside.

River Island on Asos

posted by on 20/11/2010

I haven’t shopped online for a long while and a few days ago I found my self on asos.com browsing when I discovered for the first time that they are now stocking River Island. What a huge step this is for them as asos is pretty much dominating the online fashion retail market, River Island have changed and grown over the past couple of years that it’s quite scary! More info after the cut.

158. Bunhill Fields Entrance | LDN.365

posted by on 20/11/2010

I’m not 100% sure if this is the correct name for this spot. I took this from City Road, the lighting and creepy fence got my attention. Apparently it’s an entrance to a graveyard of some sort in the middle of the city. I hate graveyards! sooo creepy, just imagine a hand poking out of one of the graves #MJthriller

Gucci x Grammy Awards Collaboration

posted by on 20/11/2010

Music to fashion is like a duck to water. Music artists are forever launching fragrances or clothing/shoe lines but this collaboration is one of great prestige. Luxury fashion brand Gucci have come together with The Recording Academy (the host of the Grammy Awards) to create a range of limited edition watches and jewellery pieces. The watches and dog tags have been designed by Gucci’s creative director Frida Giannini, incorporating the Gucci and Grammy gramophone logos. Be on the lookout for these when they go on sale.

Burberry Double Breasted Studded Trenchcoat

posted by on 20/11/2010

I may be a man but I’m the type of man that can appreciate women’s fashion and not be afraid to express opinion. This Burberry double breasted studded trench coat spotted on Harry Potter star Emma Watson is fire! Studded embellishments seem to be cropping up everywhere since the rise in popularity of the Christian Louboutin studded heels and sneakers. Many other brands have jumped onto the studded hype and have not managed to do the theme justice but in this case Burberry have definitely done a good job. It remains to be seen if this a customised item specifically for Watson or a piece taken from the 2011 Spring/Summer range as it isn’t currently available. What ever the case it is safe to say that it looks good and without a doubt should go on sale in the near future. What do you think? More pics on the flipside.
