This big red building stood out for me on Portobello Road. I don’t really have anything else to say about this place, may have hit writers block with this post. I’ve realised that I’m going to find it extremely hard to continue this series over this Winter period, walking across to snow take photographs? naw! I don’t think I’ll have time to travel to parts of London that I haven’t covered yet. The series has always been about my life and my daily travels around LDN so I guess I’ll stick with it.

Speed Painting by Jeremy Biggers

posted by on 27/11/2010

A few days while viewing some Speed Painting work on Vimeo I came across a speed painting of Wiz Khalifa. Wiz Khalifa happens to be on my list of favourite up and coming rappers. So I found this so dope. The artist uses Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Wacom to recreate photos of people. The artist behind the work goes by the name of Jeremy Biggers. Biggers hails from Dallas, Texas where he serves as a Co-Owner of  Unkommon Kolor. Unkommon Kolor is a t-shirt brand owned and operated by artists. At Unkommon Kolor they also do custom artwork as well as the shirts. View more after cut.

J. Cole @ Cargo

posted by on 26/11/2010

So annoyed, pissed off, FML’ing right now. I didn’t write up a post for the Drake tickets sale as I knew I would be missing the concerts due to a friend’s wedding and guess what I’ll be missing this one as well. Ya’ll already know Fayetteville rapper J. Cole will be supporting Drizzy on his UK tour but we all know the Roc-Nation signee deserves a gig of his own. His debut album will be killer just look at the way his mixtape Friday Night Lights shut down the internet. So bummed that I will be missing him at Cargo but alas I got to see him at Wireless. The tickets go on sale at 9am today, after the cut to find out where to get them.
