Not content with simply successfully selling stilettos, high-end brand Jimmy Choo is to venture out and make its first foray into the fragrance industry. Tamara Mellon, the founder and chief creative officer of Jimmy Choo, unveiled the new scent for women during a press event in London on October 22 “I wanted to do a fragrance from the beginning of Jimmy Choo. I want to accessorise a woman completely.”. The product will launch worldwide in Febuary 2011, along with a matching body lotion and shower gel. An eau de toilette version will also be available for sale in select global markets. Price points are as follows for the Jimmy Choo Eau de parfum: £39 (40 ml), £49 (60 ml), and £68 (100 ml).
