Yes that’s Mark Ronson rocking the Mr.Hudson look, copycat flex. Orange RockCorps have a good thing going, I’m sure you’ve all heard/seen an advert at some point over the past few years. Orange and RockCorps teamed up to bring ya’ll some of the dopest concerts featuring artists from Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Nas to even Lady Gaga. The programme encourages volunteering through peoples love for music; it aims to inspire people to volunteer within your local community at Orange RockCorps volunteer project and in return for your services, you’ll be rewarded with a ticket. Charity work with benefits? Sounds sweet. What many people don’t know about is RockCorps have another scheme for the rest of the year called the Collective. More after the cut.
The posh parts of London, Burlington Arcade just by New Bond Street. I’ve never actually been inside the Arcade but it looks like a place I’d need a hefty overdraft to be able to afford anything – lots of small little boutiques. Oh the photograph wasn’t my idea, it was my friend who suggested it. She would probably want a shout out again but I don’t want her head to get big as it’s huge already, literally.
I’m sorry for being late again with this post! it has been almost 3 weeks since my last Eargasms but working life really took over my life. I’m switching it up this time as I’ve picked an alternative song to headline the post. I heard this song in GANT Rugger‘s lookbook video and instantly fell in love. That song and many more after the cut.
Now this is a serious case of fuckery. Copyright infringement, If I were Gucci I would sue this retard for tattooing their classic brand logo on his face. ON HIS FACE. I just had to highlight that fact. Does he really think he’s attractive with that on his face? I do apologise for posting this at lunch time on a Sunday. Even my photo editing skills can’t save him.
Its been as busy week in the world of music news and as ever I have been on the look at for the most worth pieces of news to feature in this post. Unlike last week today’s post has no particular theme or common denominator connecting each story but still its a good read. Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Alexandra Burke and Cheryl Cole all feature in this weeks edition so let me keep you no longer read on to get your weekly dose of music news.
I’ve always seen this building on my journey home but never know what it was, it’s a strange shape for a Church. I’d like to go inside one day to see what it is like on the inside because the outside is dope! More information the All Souls Church here and it is time for me to hit the hay.
Remember the fresh backpack my cousin was rocking in a post a few days back? Well it’s brand spanking new and one of you lucky readers can win it. Ugh how cliché does this post sound already. Details on how to win after the cut and if you haven’t already read my review, you can read it here.
Last Friday, a friend of mine invited me down to an open mic event near East London‘s Excel Centre. I had never been to one before *embarrassed face* which is quite bad for live music lover like me. I was surprised by the vast array of talent on show – guitarists, bands, gospel and of course solo singers. The event called Cafe Reload has been going for an year and Friday’s event was the start of season 2. Continues on the flipside.
Ye has been killing it with these beats! lord lord lord. Charlie Wilson‘s addition to the track is vital however I don’t see what Alicia’s fiancé Swizz Beatz added other thank a weak ass beat. Mos Def, Raekwon and Kanye on the same track, yes please. This is raw hip-hop, stream/download on the flipside.
