Lately Supra have been unveiling new silhouettes left right and centre (see here). Henry is the latest model to be revealed by the brand and sees the brand heading in a new direction. This blend of boot, sneaker and shoe definitely lends itself to the upcoming winter season. Although I am not immediately over roared with excitement, having seen the picture of the black variant I will certainly be on the lookout for them so I can judge whether or not I want to make a purchase. More pics and detail on the flipside.
The London Freeze festival is back again this year at London’s Iconic Battersea Power Station from 29th to 31th October. The venue will be transformed into a ski resort where we’ll find alpine themed bars and 4 stages that will see 90 different acts perform including our friend Jo’leon Davenue & Mark Ronson! They’ll also be a cinema & food stalls and while all of this is happening, the World Cup Snowboarding will be taking place as well as Freestyle Skiing. Sounds really exciting this year, get your tickets ASAP because they’re selling fast.
First and foremost, this owner of this print shop is an absolute c*nt. The only reason I’m featuring this is because I like how the photograph turned out. The main focal point for me is the vector image of the classic Beatles photograph of them crossing the road at Abbey Road, it’s dope and the lights in the room seem to perfectly compliment it. However don’t ever visit the shop, the owner was way too rude to us and we were paying customers! and guess what? I’ve reached 100! only 265 to go. *sighs*
Back by popular demand and by that I mean I wanted to revisit this post as I enjoyed writing it the first time round lol. For those who didn’t read this feature which I posted two weeks ago, Shoulda Woulda Coulda features songs that got overlooked during the single selection process. I aim to give such songs their shinning light as I feel that had they been released they could have potentially become hits. Today’s Shoulda Woulda Coulda consists of songs from Marques Houston, Sugababes, Usher and Jojo if this interests you please read on to hear what I feel are song dope songs.
Props to homie Nate for bringing this to my attention. Easily one of my favourite cuts from Drizzy‘s debut record and it features the HOV, I’m waiting on them to release an official video for this song. It deserves it, some seriously dope wordplay on this track. Celebrity photographer Derick G has decided not to wait for the Official video and direct his own version of the video with a twist as he’s using an all female cast. Dope production, at times I wish he had used a better camera as it’s a little noisy. The actresses do a good job of portraying the rappers especially the chick who does Jay-Z. She has him spot on! Video after the cut.
Shopping is one thing that pretty much pleases everyone; even if the act itself may not be enjoyable to everyone we all can appreciate the outcome NEW SHIT! lol. For those who take to shopping centres, Westfield in White City in particular will be pleased to know that new stores will be opening in the near future. Additional retail space is always welcome especially when you have been accustomed to what already exists. Find out what new stores will be arriving after the cut.
Surprisingly the sun was out a few days ago so I decided take my camera out with me during lunch. I snapped a few photographs around the Carnaby/Soho region. I have no idea what the building is called but it’s directly behind Carnaby Street. I can just imagine myself doing parkour down each level, actually I don’t but I would like to think I can. How dope would that be though? I just need to be bitten by a radioactive spider that will give me spidey senses.
Another G-Shock Collaboration for ya’ll, I know it looks just like the normal watch but I like the little features they’ve added to it. I like shapes, the little white detail stars and all black matt exterior works well. G-Shock have joined forces with cult London fashion brand Passarella Death Squad to conjure up this stunning bespoke version of the classic DW-6900 watch for the A/W season. Peep some more photographs after the cut.
It’s good to keep in contact with people that you meet and it’s even better when those people are genuinely nice human beings and you don’t find it a task to check up on how they are doing once in a while. Well the good guys over at Food Secret (shout out to Stephanie Gautier in particular) are such people. So I would like to update you on a few things that they have going on, remember our review? Check it out here. More when you read on.
Drool. Blazers, knits, jackets, suits, scarves, ties + dark and earthy/neutral tones = amazing. This reminds me of the Morris collection DJB posted a few weeks back but we all know Polo Ralph Lauren are the originators of the modern prepster lifestyle. They’ve managed to combine the Ivy League, classic English with downtown and sporty looks. The whole collection looks dope! it’s a shame about the prices/my income, anyone got a few £1000 that I can borrow? Video on the flipside.
