Took this on the way to Mooli’s the other day. Apparently this alley has a notorious reputation for it’s strip clubs and err sex trade? I’m not surprised as it’s in Soho. I love how I take photos in a speedy rush and some how it turns out to be pretty dope after a few tweaks on Photoshop.

Ozwald Boateng LFW Catwalk 2010

posted by on 23/09/2010

Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending Ozwald Boateng‘s first London Fashion Week show at the Odeon Cinema in Leicester Square. The show kicked off with a rather compelling short film based on Ozwald’s life and how he got to be where he is today. I thought it was a nice touch to start things off with that film. This was his first LFW show and I don’t know how else to describe it other than it was epic.

My Tattoo | ▲❍▼❏

posted by on 23/09/2010

All of ya’ll who stalk me on Facebook and Twitter will know that I got my tattoo done a few days back. It’s my first and will probably be the only one  I get for a good 5-6 years. It reflects my design style – minimalist, clean and sharp. There is a deeper meaning to it which you can read here if you haven’t already got it. I took my friend Tinography along with me – her job was to take photographs/perv on me during the whole process. Honestly I actually didn’t mind the pain. I can definitely see why people are addicted to tattoos, the sensation/adrenaline rush is nice in a weird way. I’ve added photographs of the process after the cut, allow my hairy Indian arms.

Here come the ‘Yin is a freemason!’ rumours on PerezHilton.com. I had the pleasure of going to Tim Soars LFW show earlier today with one of my fellow interns at work. I’ll speak more on the show in a separate post. However I’d like to take a moment to diss the pretentious pricks you find at these shows, so far stuck up their own ass and half of them are just bloggers. I’ll stop there as this rant could be essay length. This was taken earlier today at the Tim Soar show!

No you horny people, this isn’t going to be a post about sex. I’ve been meaning to write this post for a few weeks now since a few readers hit me up in recent months asking what I study at university and what advice I’d give them. I’m quite flattered when they ask but in all honesty, I haven’t done anything as I’m still working towards completing my degree. Continues after the cut.

Black is the name of the new tailored menswear line brought to us by British online retailer ASOS. The line comes from the desire to explore the finer aspects of modern menswear. Close attention is paid to the cut, fit, function, fabric and fine detailing of the garments with all forty pieces given the same attention to detail treatment. ASOS have teamed up with director Paul Gore to create a short film which captures and features the essence of the line. Take a look at the video and few pictures of the collection after the cut. P.S the collection is available now via ASOS.com.

Why Do We Rock To The Dumbest Songs

posted by on 22/09/2010

Music over the years has changed drastically. Gone are the days of the Mariah Carey ‘Hero’ songs or the Chaka Kahn ‘I’m Every Woman’ anthems, instead we are consumed by masses of bubble gun pop songs. Even the Rap/Hip-Hop genre has gone through major change, once described as gangsta rap we are now being rap songs teaching us how to dance. Although some are very infectious does it take real talent to sit in a room and make up some repetitive dance, then make a song about it? I think not. Considering my apparent annoyance for lack of genuinely good music I still find myself bumping my head and singing the words to these stupid songs. Are you guys the same? View some of the songs I’m talking about and let me know your opinion.
