Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

Throwback Thursday: Gospel

posted by on 02/09/2010

This weeks Throwback tunes are dedicated to Gospel music, most people when they think of Gospel music they are thinking middle aged to old people with long faces in an old Church screeching to Hymns! The songs you are about to hear are exactly the opposite, regretfully I don’t attend Church as often as I should but on Sunday mornings I will listen to some of these. We chose these tunes by Mary Mary, Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin & Cece Winans. I’m sure you would have heard some of these songs before, Enjoy!

Cee-Lo – 'Fuck You' Official Music Video

posted by on 02/09/2010

I’m going to run out of superlatives trying to describe how great this song is. Last week, his camp dropped the viral video for it and it has gained over 4 million views in the space of 2 weeks. Pure genius from the marketing team, the typography video was perfect and not to forget the song insanely catchy. I’m sure most people haven’t seen videos like it before. As promised the official video dropped yesterday, after the cut to view it.

Womanity by Thierry Mugler

posted by on 01/09/2010

The fragrance ‘Womanity’ by Thierry Mugler is supposedly everything a woman should smell like, fresh, floral and like figs. Wait, what, figs? Yes it has an overwhelming smell of figs mixed with caviar but not in a good way more like in a cheap air freshener kind of way.

79. The Carts – Soho | LDN.365

posted by on 01/09/2010

At work a lot of people kept saying they’re going to the Cart for lunch and I’d be like the what? well they’re actually Market Stall carts in the middle of Soho. The Mexican joint is quite well known in the area amongst the professionals as you can tell from the massive queue. I wasn’t too pleased by the wait but heck it was most definitely worth the wait! I devoured that burrito in about 2.5 minutes, new world record. Usain Bolt can’t touch this!

Arcade Fire's Interactive HTML5 Video.

posted by on 01/09/2010

I can honestly say I’ve never seen anything like this, it’s definitely unique. Arcade Fire have teamed up with Google to create this html5 based video for their upcoming single for ‘We Used To Wait‘. The interactive concept is pure genius – you enter your address, it uses Google Maps street view as a base then overlays it with various objects. Bits and pieces of the video pop up all over your screen, it’s weird but nostalgic at the same time as you keep seeing your house. Link after the cut.
