Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

Don't Stop Believing | Does Coventry have the Glee factor?

posted by on 22/08/2010

If you read my tweets you know how much I love and support my hometown Coventry. A lot of people joke about the city and play down its values, comparing it to places such as London and Birmingham. Like I always say its nothing like them, we have our own culture and talents.

Givenchy Spring/Summer 2011 Metallic Wallet Series

posted by on 22/08/2010

I’ve been saying for months that I need a new wallet but I’ve never got round to actually purchasing one. They are either way too expensive or just not good enough. I don’t know, people don’t generally show off a wallet as you don’t want to attract attention to where you keep your money and get jacked. However in a club/fancy bar, you meet a hot chick and you don’t want to be pulling out a trampy old worn wallet. You’d want to pull it out something a little fancy like Givenchy‘s latest offerings. The collection features wallets in black leather, metallic gold and red accents. More photos after the cut.

69. Whitehall x Parliament View | LDN.365

posted by on 22/08/2010

Another photograph I took that day after work. I just had to take a photography of the Houses of Parliament of this angle, just look how golden it looks. In fact this period of the day is actually referred to as the ‘Golden Hour‘. Photographers will be able to achieve a specific effect during this time as the lighting is softer, warmer in hue and the shadows are longer. Beautiful. Remember the last time I featured the Parliament? Flip back to the first ever LDN.365 photograph.

Last Exorcism Viral Marketing Campaign On Chatroulette

posted by on 21/08/2010

Chatroulette has an infamous reputation for the amount of desperate young teenage boys it attracts and this new viral campaign targets them. It’s genius, viral marketing at it’s very best. It starts off as a regular Chatroulette conversation with the dudes getting excited as the female starts seductively stripping but then BOOM! she turns into a possessed freak. Then it cuts to a black screen before the movie’s URL shows up. Dope! I’d like to see the reaction of some of the desperate older men who use that site, they must get heart attacks. Video after the cut.

68. Boat On The Thames | LDN.365

posted by on 21/08/2010

Another one from that day. This one is quite creepy as it reminds me of a scene from an American horror movie. It’s like you’re waiting for some kind of creature to jump out of the water and attack all those couples on the boat. I don’t know why people would go for dinner on an anchored boat on the River Thames. It must stink, the Thames is so polluted!

Gourmet 'The 25' Fall 2010 Collection

posted by on 21/08/2010

Simplicity at it’s best. The new Gourmet sneaker dubbed ‘The 25’ is just such a delight. The simple silhouette but with the slightest twist thrown into the mix with the unusual ankle support is what I’m drawn to. On top of the fact that the choice of materials used to create the upper compliment the simple yet interesting sneaker. The canvas and suede upper in the most basic of colours black or white/cream really extenuates the sense of simplicity that I keep banging on about. Check out close up pics of these babies from Gourmet’s Fall 2010 collection.

Those of you who have already jumped on the Foursquare band wagon will know that it has become really popular recently, I only joined a few days ago and I can see why; it has already become quite infectious because its a really simple social media app. No long profiles to read, no hundreds of photos to flick through, its quick and easy just like Twitter. All you need to do is search for where ever you visit on the app and check in, every time you check in you earn tokens. If you check-in to the same places a number of times you can earn discounts from the owners or become the mayor of the venue.. I run ‘tings’ over at Eastone my work place now!

Le Peter Parkour

posted by on 21/08/2010

Parkour is a French sport known in this country as free running. The object of this sport is to make it from one destination to another using your surroundings as obstacles by jumping and climbing over objects. It’s a sick sport and takes a lot of strength and skill to do but free running is actually insane, the way people fly from building to building like they Peter Parker! But anyways, check this amazing video I found on Vimeo, it’s an animation featuring the journey of a free runner en route to his destination.
