Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

Farah Vintage 2010 Fall/Winter Lookbook

posted by on 24/07/2010

I’ve never paid much attention to the Farah Vintage brand till I spotted this look book on another site. It’s very well done, the model manages to pull of all the looks pretty well. The line consists of a lot of outerwear such as jackets, coats and knitwear such as caridgans and sweaters. Also features a few plaid shirts, blazers and trousers. It’s definitely a consist collection that utilizes dark and subtle tones, it feels very classic London to me despite the brands US origin. More after the cut.

Digital Painting | The Recreation

posted by on 24/07/2010

I don’t even know what type of introduction to write about this particular post. I was just browsing the internet as you do and I stumbled across this video. It shows how a photograph can be recreated from scratch using photoshop. All I can say is that I found it amazing; I’m in awe and to be honest slightly envious that I am not able to do this. I think a hard practise session on photoshop is in order. Please take a look at the vid and give me your feedback.

Ransom By Adidas ‘The Dune’

posted by on 24/07/2010

They just keep them coming. Although a self confessed Adidas freak, I’ve never actually paid attention to the Ransom by Adidas collection before. However this new Fall/Winter collection seems to be doing it for me. Granted I would like to see the whole collection and make a judgement but the way they have chosen to release different aspects of the collection at different times keeps the excitement and interest very high.  These are titled The Dune and have a very different feel to them than your regular sneaker. These look like they would sit well with a nice pair of jeans (they kind of got that Timberland boot feel to them). I’ll be checking for them when they drop next month.

40. London Southbank | LDN.365

posted by on 24/07/2010

Day 40. Wow we’ve come quite far already and I haven’t given up, quite surprising. Though I’m starting to run out of ideas already! Southbank has to be one of my favourite parts of London, you always manage to bump into strange and wonderful people down there. A lot of crazy acts like this one, I wouldn’t have the courage to go up there and this dude makes it look easy.

Lego Street Shoot Out

posted by on 23/07/2010

Ahaha, this is dope. It’s so well made, I don’t quite understand how he made it to be honest with you. It can’t be stop motion or CGI?! Genius however. His youtube page is full of Lego versions of famous movie scenes. Any fan of Lego will love this, peep some of the videos after the cut.

WeSC Store Launch Party Recap | Covent Garden

posted by on 23/07/2010

So last night we headed down to the WeSC launch party with the family. The main reason we went was to see our extended family A&O music artists, Joleon Davenue, Enrico Delves & Chantelle Nandi do what they do best. It’s been a while since we last saw them but boy they all ways know how to put on a show, they shut the event down with their performances. More after the cut.

Benito's Hat | Mexican Kitchen

posted by on 23/07/2010

We were going through #craventimes earlier today so before we got our selves down to the WeSC (pronounced We-Ess-See for those who didn’t know) store launch we stopped by Mexican restaurant ‘Benito’s Hat’ just on New Row in Covent Garden. I love Mexican Food, when we went New York all I ate was Taco Bell. Not very good for your health though I would advise! More after the jump.

Jay Bird Bluetooth Headphones

posted by on 23/07/2010

I know a good looking pair of headphones when I see one and these creations by Jay Bird are just that. Although I feel that the set of pictures featured in this post may be a bit on the glossy side and have clearly been photoshopped but I still have high hopes that the headphones are as nice looking as they appear. We have featured headphones in the past (see posts on Beats by Dre and Skullcandy x Roc Nation Aviator headphones) however these differ as they are hooked up to your device via Bluetooth, and we all know what that means NO WIRES. Personally I like the White with a hint of red and the black incarnations. Read on to see alternative colourways.
