Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

A Cliff House in Kerala

posted by on 26/07/2010

I stumbled across the main photo on a site and instantly thought that has to be in Kerala. For those that don’t already know, I’m Indian and my parents are from home a small state down south called Kerala. I’ve been there a good dozen times and pretty much hate going with family as all we ever do is visit unknown relatives. This house is nothing like I’ve seen there in all my visits, the architecture is simply amazing. Houses there are usually quite traditional and hell of a lot bigger than the average house here, in fact probably double the size. More photos on the flipside.

MyWardrobe | Stone Island Ice Coat

posted by on 26/07/2010

Our friends over at My-Wardrobe.com have added this dope ‘reflective’ coat to their A/W collection. I know it’s early for me to start talking about purchasing stuff for next season but in all honesty I prefer fashion in the winter season. I love layering and in the summer it’s hard to wear more than one layer without sweating like a fat man’s ass. This Stone Island coat is quite revolutionary not only because of the new technology but because of the design process using today’s most complex advances in fabric construction. More after the cut.

42. Westminster Abbey | LDN.365

posted by on 26/07/2010

This is one of the photos I used in my photography portfolio for my elective. I took it last November outside of Westminster Abbey around the time they had a World War II memorial going on. All those little wooden things you see are meant to represent the graves of the fallen. I didn’t even focus properly for this shot, just a random quick photograph that came out well.

Making Movies With An iPhone 4

posted by on 26/07/2010

Now we all know that technology has come along way but could we have ever imagined a time when making movies, adverts and music videos with just a mobile phone became the norm. Well with the new iPhone 4 that time has arrived. A couple of students from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, Michael Koerbel and Anna Elizabeth James, have written and directed an entire movie – well a short film called “Apple of My Eye” using the newest incarnation of the iPhone series as the camera and editing device all within a 48 hour time frame. View the short film and behind the scenes footage after the cut.

Usher Tracklistings Revealed *UPDATED with Artwork*

posted by on 25/07/2010

A couple weeks ago I posted that Usher is set to release a new EP titled Versus as well as dropping Raymond V Raymond on August 24th. Well today he revealed the tracklisting for both. Versus contains seven new tracks along with his collaboration with Justin Bieber ‘Somebody To Love’ and his latest single There Goes My Baby. The EP is filled with collaborations including, what is to be his newest single hitting radio stations on August 9th, Hot Toddy which features Ciara and Jay-Z. This is a track I’m definitely looking forward to. Just imagine the music video with Usher and Ciara’s dancing skills, FIRE! Tracklisting after the jump.

posted by on 25/07/2010

For those who do not know what the UFC is then you need to wake up ASAP. UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) is the elite mixed martial arts (MMA) production company. For those who are into wrestling, boxing and/or jujitsu, you haven’t seen anything until you’ve watched the UFC. Speaking as a bona fide fan I urge all of you reading this post to do your home work and get to know about this monumental and hugely successful company. For the fourth time is three years UFC is coming to the UK. As with most major events that take place in England, UFC 120 will be staged at the now infamous O2 arena on October 16th. Chris Brown Blocked Me On Twitter

posted by on 25/07/2010

I found this out earlier today when I tried to follow Breezy after viewing the ‘Deuces‘ video again. That video is easily one of my favourites of the year so far, it’s so well shot. Anyway back to the point, I don’t quite understand why he has blocked me but I’m guessing he saw the tweet for this post. I’m sure he’ll hate me in a few years when I make love to his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. I still listen to your music, child. Over and out.

Street Fighter X Tekken Game Debut Trailer

posted by on 25/07/2010

OMFG. I didn’t know about this game coming out but boy am I excited for it. Street Fighter was one of my favourite games as a child, especially on the Amiga gaming system but it really did kill my thumbs with all the button bashing. I replaced it with Tekken and now they’re combining the two. I think the Street Fighter characters have an unfair advantage with all hadoukens and fireballs combos, so I’m hoping they give the Tekken characters an upgrade.

41. St. Pauls Cathedral | LDN.365

posted by on 25/07/2010

One of London’s iconic and oldest landmarks, St. Pauls Cathedral. Everytime I walk past, it makes me want to visit Rome and the Vatican just to be surrounded by such fine classic architecture. Fact, the Cathedral was one of a few landmarks that was left unscathed in the Second World War. Surprising I know as Hitler ordered hits on many landmarks all over England but why spare this one? or was it divine intervention as some would like to believe. Who knows.

VIDEO: Jo'leon Davenue Performance @ WeSC Launch

posted by on 24/07/2010

I’m still new to this video editing thing, it’s probably the most time consuming thing ever. Rendering one little effect took 42 minutes! mind you I am working with 1080p HD video. Enough waffle, here’s the video I took the other day at the WeSC launch. My friends killed their performance, after the cut for the video.
