For those that don’t know tomorrow will mark one year since Michael‘s death. I still remember that night, I was drinking away at a friends house so I ignored my phone but later checked to find several calls and texts only to find about his death. I nearly broke into tears and I rarely cry unless it’s a family member passing away/Arsenal losing in the Champion‘s League final. The whole world was in mourning for weeks, do you think any other human being’s death will have that kind of impact? Madonna? Lady Gaga? ehh no. Greatest Ever.
In this episode, we follow Maestro around our beautiful city London for the qualification round of the adiCup tournament. He switches things up in this episode as he takes the back seat and lets his fans do the speaking on his behalf. That’s not any random photo above, it’s actually a screenshot from the video. Look who it is in the middle with the bright red hat and sneakers, it’s ME! I can now say I’ve been in a Maestro Knows episode. Video after the cut.

Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending. - Drake
I should do this quote thing way more often. I do like a random inspiring quote to give me a kick up the backside and get down to work, we have very little time on this planet. No time to waste. This quotes from the man of the moment; his debut record ‘Thank Me Later‘ just sold 477,000 copies in it’s first week and sits firmly on top of the Billboard Charts. After the cut for one of my favourite Drake songs last summer, it describes his success and work ethic.
KarmaloopTV talks to Dee & Ricky at their G-Shock collaboration watch release party. In fact they talk to the infamous twins separately, so it’s kind of a Dee vs Ricky type interview. Anyway, they pit brother vs brother to get the most dirt of them as possible. I posted the watch itself a few weeks back and it should be now available from Casio outlets for $130. Check out the interview and photos of some familiar faces at the party on the flipside.
Back to normal proceedings with a photo of Blackfriars Road just by the Bridge. London is beautiful when it’s sunny, just look at the clouds. More tomorrow, I actually need to go out and take some more photos. I haven’t really had the chance, the World Cup and Wimbledon have been a big distractions this week. I have some big things lined up for ya’ll over the summer, hold tight!
The chancellor George Osborne announced yesterday that VAT has been increased to 20% to stop this generation of debt and crazy ass spending. I think it’s ludicrous, my friend Jas summed it up pretty well in a tweet ‘they are taking LIBerties and CONning us’. All the more reason for me to move abroad upon graduation next year. *touch wood* more details on the changes after the cut.
Let the fat times roll. We both fell in love with fast food joint during our trip to NYC; it’s so cheap and tasty. I can see why a lot of Americans are fat when they have good fast food joints like this one. Taco Bell have announced their UK relaunch with an aggressive marketing as there is now a greater awareness and apprecation of Mexican food in the UK. It’s true, Mexican food really is the sh*t. The first UK outlet at Lakeside Shopping Centre, next week. We’ll probably be there at some point! More after the cut.
Diddy, sick of all the negativity that surrounds us, has taken things into his own hands and decided to create a new blog in which he intends to only promote, congratulate and inspire. This new positive inspiration blog, which went active this week, I think is a good idea. Similar to Kanye’s blog it is a way in which his fans and others can get a sense of his personality and interests. Should he update regularly I don’t see why this new blog cannot be a success. Check it out for yourselves www.diddyblog.com. Diddy explains what his blog is all about after the jump.
