Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

Maestro Knows Episode 6 – Johnny Cupcakes

posted by on 23/03/2010

I remember watching Maestro’s Ustream a few months ago when Johnny Cupcakes was there as a fan viewing the channel and Levi didn’t believe it was him at first so he had to prove it to him by tweeting Maestro.  I’m guessing they met up afterwards as in this episode, Levi visits Johnny in Boston. He crashes at his amazing crib and documents on Johnny’s success story and brand. If you’re like me and wondering who the eff Johnny Cupcakes is then watch the video after the cut.

My Summer Song

posted by on 23/03/2010

With the weather slowly drifting away from Winter‘s hangover, I woke up today as a result of the sun shining through my bedroom curtains. This hasn’t happened in a very long time, so long ago that I can’t even remember the last time. I do find that a little bit of sunshine can brighten up one’s mood with in a flash, consequently the sunshine also glorifies London‘s concrete beauty. It’s actually a nice place to reside in when there is some sunlight otherwise it’s a dull gloomy haven. I only say that because I have lived here ALL my life. There is one song that I overplay every Summer solstice and I thought I would share it with ya’ll after the jump.

These photos were created by illustrator Joseba Elorza, they are actually incredible. The artist combines photography and illustration to create these images and not only do they look amazing but they all convey a message. What I love best about his work is that it makes you think about what you are looking at- he has created riddles in a visual form. One of the best photos in my opinion would be the one featured. I like the detail and colours they are stunning and also the meaning behind it. The two characters are watching the destruction of the world which is what we are currently doing everyday. Check out some of his photos and visit his website.

Digital Departure: Back To Basics

posted by on 23/03/2010

So my precious Macbook Pro has left my humble abode for some much needed repairs. Quite frankly I feel a little like Gollum from The Lord of The Ring‘s trilogy ‘my precious’ *snarls* I’ve decided to make use of this time by reading and sketching. One of the tasks I’ve set myself to do is to create vector characters of me and Yang, but this requires a starting point – a simple cartoon sketch.

Adidas Originals “Hide and Seek” Stan Smith 80s TF

posted by on 22/03/2010

Addias has done it again. Addias following their S/S Interactive Lookbook which was previously posted has just introduced the Adidas Originals “Hide and Seek” Stan Smith 80s TF. They are probably one the dopest/creative sneakers I’ve seen by Addias by far. The TF line is built around iconic classics which feature a transformable upper. The first layer drop has seen highlights that include the Superstar and the Stan Smith 80s. In its original form, the Stan Smith features a high-top profile in which the upper can be un-zipped and removed to create a low-top version in a different color. The Stan Smith 80s TF is available now at select retailers. View more images after the cut.

I’m a straight up nerd of the Digital Age. My most prized possession in terms of technology is my Macbook Pro. I’ve had it since November ’08 and now it needs repairs because of some heat disintegration to the hinge (overuse probably). These are going to be bad times, I may have to resort to using my windows desktop but somehow I just don’t see it happening! I don’t have the patience to use it. So until my Macbook returns, I won’t be posting. Over and out.
