Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

Adidas Originals x Star Wars

A whole new level of Geek, Adidas have collaborated on a sneaker line with the ultimate geeky movie, Star Wars. Yep you guessed it, I’m a big fan of Star Wars but sadly I’m not feeling most of these kicks. They look tacky like something I would find in Barratts (Hi-Tek haha). Check out the whole collection after the jump.

Jay-Z Speaks On The Illuminati & Religion

posted by on 16/01/2010

I know a lot of you narrow-minded peeps think way too much into things and start associating music with Devil/Illuminati/Freemasons. Jay-Z has been one of a few artists who has been constantly linked with the secret societies. I’ve never believed in such crap, music is music, a platform to voice your opinion/express your feelings and so on. I’ve never heard Jay-Z spit 666-related lyrics ever and I’ve listened to all his albums! after the cut for his interview with Angie Martinez of Hot 97.

Pilfered PDF Magazine January 2010 Issue

posted by on 16/01/2010

I’ll be honest, I’ve never heard of Pilfered Magazine before till today. The fact that it was free and featured Jay-Z on the cover got me interested, I actually was expecting to read a Hip-Hop magazine style articles/interviews but I was in for a pleasant surprise. The magazine was nothing like what I expected it to be, it’s an online magazine showcasing works of art found by it’s users. Lots of great photographs, real good if you’re looking for some inspiration. This issue’s guest editor is music video director/photographer, Anthony Mandler. Peep the magazine after the cut.

Creative Recreation have dropped an exclusive first look at what their designers have been working hard on for S/S10. It was only last year I came across this brand and I think they produce some sexy sneakers but I still haven’t owned a pair.. maybe this might be the time to cop some! Looks like Creative Rec are focusing on a natural look this season- we’re talking: shades of brown and more suede materials. Check out out some of the new collection..

Flashback Friday

posted by on 15/01/2010

It’s that time again, that time where we pick two HARD tunes from back in the day. I have chosen Changes by the one and only Tupac; a very influential song and up till this day the lyrics speak for it self “still I see no changes”. It’s mad how I’m about to introduce a tune that contradicts the firsts one big time but it’s such a sick song. ‘Hit em up’ also by Tupac. The way Biggie got straight Par in this song its not a joke!

Rihanna had me singing her single “Hard” after she landed the cover of the latest issue with W Mag. The self proclaimed “Good Girl Gone Bad” poses nude but unfortunately doesn’t bare all. This shoot is definately hot but its not trashy, Rihanna manages to to look classy rocking pieces from the likes of Gucci, Chanel and Christian Dior. Check out the entire shoot here…

Throwback Thursday

posted by on 14/01/2010

Aight ya’ll, I’ve been listening to some classic Jay-Z albums this week on my daily commute to University. By classic I mean, classics from the 00s; Jay-Z’s Blueprint, Blueprint 2 and the Black Album. All 3 are out of this world, this is what Hip Hop is all about! He needs to bring this flow back and hook up with producer Just Blaze again, sweaaaaar down. Tunes after the cut.
