Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

I have a love hate affinity with fashion. But at the end of the day, its what i do. I believe fashion is intricately woven into our modern way of life. We are either “in fashion” or “anti” fashion… or so post modern.. or whatever you want to call it. Either way, we lead each day trying to fulfill our dreams.Fashion is the desire we have to express ourselves through what we dream to be day to day necessity. A few days ago I happened across this cute documentary that those of you who follow the fashion HYPE may enjoy.

Burberry Spring/Summer 2010 Ad Campaign

posted by on 21/01/2010

Everyone’s favourite British chick Emma Watson is featured again in Burberry‘s latest advertising campaign. I must admit that Hermione looks peng after a bit of magical photoshop work. The campaign shot by acclaimed photographer, Mario Testino, features a bunch of young British music artists alongside Miss. Watson. I don’t recognise any of the dudes; 2 of them look like emo kids that I’d find in Camden Town or in my friend Jay Wennington‘s crewdem.

Louis Vuitton SS/10 Backpacks

LV drop their new line of bags this season! They are almost identical to the ones they had last season but to be honest I think the previous model is better. If you’re going to buy an LV bag it should really have the LV print or whats the point!? Yin really wanted a pair of these last year… he’s still saving. You can purchase this on the Louis Vuitton online store or go to Selfridges for £800/your arm.

Nike True City iPhone App

posted by on 20/01/2010

Nike in collaboration with Vice Magazine recently launched a very useful iPhone application which combines Facebook, Yelp, Twitter and Google Maps. The idea behind the True City application is to provide a deeper insight into six of the biggest European Cities  (London, Berlin, Paris, Milan, Amsterdam, Barcelona) by making the ‘hidden’ visible via Nike’s selected insiders and fresh kids. For London, they have selected music artists such as Tinie Tempah and Master Shortie as well as various athletes, sneakerheads and some next people who are apparently famous. In all honesty, I think this is a pretty dope idea especially for tourists who want to see something more than Queen’s yard and Giant Ferris Wheel in the middle of London. I personally would use this when I visit Milan as I don’t really know anyone there and would like to chill out in some cool arty places that are hidden away in the inner chambers of the City. Screenshots and Videos after the cut.

Ya’ll must be thinking who’s the chick in the photo? Well she’s not a replacement Yang! I’d like to introduce the newest member of the Yin&Yang family, my homegirl Leona. She’s a 22 year old HRM student at Keele University and an elite gamer, no joke. She whooped my ass at Call of Duty online! I think I’m still traumatized from that day. She’ll be posting about anything really as its always good to have a females take on things. Anyway if you want to know more about her, tweet her. After the jump to see how much she loves me and hold tight for her first post!
