Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

The College Kid With The Record Deal

Introducing Mike Posner, he’s a student by day and a major-label artist by night. I discovered him a few months ago when I randomly stumbled across him whilst searching for the ‘Kiss Me Thru The Phone’ song as he remixed his own version which is way waaaay better than Soulja Boy’s version. I did my usual thing of hunting down more songs of his when I stumbled across his first mixtape on iTunes, A Matter Of Trust. He wrote, produced and sang all the songs himself in his spare time and all that hard work paid off. After the jump for more.

The Cudder + GQ x Wale x Drake x Cudi

Anyone who knows me will know that Hip-hop sensation, Kid Cudi is my favourite artist. Just peep my for evidence. In my opinion, he’s the best of the new school. He may not have the best flow or lyricism but his lyrics are honest and always real, none of that superficial sh*t.

He speaks to MTV about his next project which he says will be ALOT bigger than Man On The Moon. After the cut for the video.

Lady Gaga x Vogue

I’ve never been a big fan of her personal style as shes always taken it that one step to far. Do you remember what she wore at the VMAs? but I like this Hansel & Gretel inspired shoot, styled by Marc Jacobs, she embodies the role of the witch. These breathtaking shots were taken by legendary photographer, Annie Leibowitz. They are quite reminiscent of the shoot she did last year for Disney’s “Year of a Million Dreams” campaign.

I’ll kick start things with a Timbo tune off his next cut, Shock Value 2. It features The Fray and Esthero (WHO?). It’s quite similar to Apologize from his previous album, similar production and style. I’ve been blown away by how well the 2 styles mix again, The Fray singer makes this song. After the cut.

Buzz so big, he could probably sell you a blank disc. Drizzy Drake releases a new mixtape after several features on other elite artists songs such as Jay-Z, Mary J Blige and Trey Songz. Most of these tracks seem unfinished/old, probably cuts off his debut album, Thank Me Later. I’m sure all you Drake fans will love this though. Anyway click after the jump for the link.

P.S. Sorry about the lack of posts this weekend, we were both away on business.

Evisu is a hugely popular international brand that has seen much success, however declining sales called for some re-branding. Looking at the preview, Evisu have come with a simple campaign for next season, something plain and minimal where the photos are black white and the location of the photoshoot is under the Williamsburg bridge in New York City.

Great advice from New York-based photographer, 13th Witness aka Timothy McGurr, the son of legendary graffiti artist, Leonard ‘Futura’ McGurr. He’s worked with the likes of Nike, Jay-Z and my current idol, Levi Maestro. He is the genius behind the stop motion intro videos for Maestro Knows. After the jump are a selection of his dope photos and videos, enjoy!
